Before and After School Nanny

Permanent Position

Before and after school nanny required in York.
Monday to Friday wrap around childcare for a 6 year old with additional needs.
7.15am till 9.15am (taking him to school for 9am but allowing for handover etc)
2.50pm till 6pm (or 6.30pm) picking him up from school, reading, homework, trips to the park, teatime etc.
There may be opportunities for;
Housekeeping hours
Weekend hours
Longer evening hours (depending on work commitments)
but this would depend on the person and the family is happy to be flexible.
During the school holidays the weekly hours would be spread over days rather than the wrap around.
Ideally someone who is self employed and takes responsibility for their own tax, NI, insurance etc.
Ofsted registered is a must.
Full driving license with own car is also a must.
Payment per hour up to £11.50 for the right person.

Nanny in Gilberdyke.

Full time or job share position

A flexible nanny is required for a family in Gilberdyke. This could be either a full time role for one flexible nanny or two roles.
Days and hours required-
Wednesday and Thursday 9am-5pm-Permanent position
Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm-May until October
A degree of flexibility may be required. The role consists of caring for 4 children aged 2,3,4 and 5 years of age during the week. The week-end role if taken separately will be 2 children. The families are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic nanny to take care of and play with the children. General nursery duties and cooking will be part of the role. There is a lovely garden with lots of equipment and the village to explore. A driver would be advantageous for trips out but not essential as long as the nanny can attend the property easily. A school pick up may be required for the older child at times. Mum will be working from home on the week days but not at the weekend.
An up to date DBS and First Aid certificate are essential.
To start at the end of May 2021.

Lovely family in Southbank York

Permanent Position

Nanny required for a family living in the Southbank area of York. Taking care of three girls aged 5 years, 3.5 years and 10 months old. The family would like a nanny who is flexible and playful but who can provide educational support and differentiate age appropriate activities to the children.
This is a permanent role to start 8th September with a few induction days required in the summer. Days and hours Wednesday, Thursday and Friday around 8am-6-30pm.
The parents both work from home and will be based in an office in the property.
The oldest child will be attending school full time and the middle child is in playschool. They will require dropping off and picking up. Everything is in walk able distance from the home with lots of areas of interest nearby including parks, groups and river walks.
Salary is £13 per hour gross for the right candidate.

School Holiday Nanny

Permanent Position

School holiday nanny required near York for two boys aged 5 and 3 years old. This is a permanent position to start in the summer term. We are looking for an experienced qualified nanny with a DBS check, first aid certificate and a full driving licence.
Responsibilities required: Looking after and developing the children, providing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children and lunch for the entire family (we subscribe to Hello Fresh, this will need to be prepared for lunches for the whole family including the children). Providing stimulating activities for the two boys and monitoring their progress against usual childhood milestones. Ensuring all areas used by the children in the house are maintained as clean and tidy. Ensuring all their washing of clothing and bedding is kept up to date. Such other duties in line with the above as reasonably required from time to time.

Starting July 2021

Private Nanny required for a lovely family in York.
To start in July 2021 looking after 2 children. Driver required and a DBS, childcare qualifications and a Paediatric First Aid are essential. Salary £10 per hour initially with discussions in the future.
School holidays (including July and August): 7.30 AM to 6.30 PM (this would include cooking for the children)
Term time: 7.30 AM to 9 AM (school run) and 2.30 PM to 6.30 PM (picking up the kids and staying with them until we get home).
The family offer flexible annual leave but some of it will have to coincide with theirs to be discussed at interview.
Mileage will be paid for activities with the children and an additional return trip from nanny's home to family home during term time.
